青州，地处山东省中部，人口约96万，为国家历史文化名城。青州古城是国家AAAAA级景区，历史悠久，城建历史2200多年。自西汉初年始，先后存在过广县城、广固城、东阳城、南阳城、东关圩子城、满洲驻防旗城等六座古城，作为整个山东地区政治、经济、军事、文化中心的时间长达1000多年。主要包括东阳城北关历史文化街区、南阳城偶园历史文化街区和东关历史文化街区，目前开放区域面积1.4平方公里，主要集中在古南阳城，是一座具有鲜明地域特色的明清建筑风格的古城。区域内主要有北门大街、偶园街、东门大街、北营街、南营街、参府街、东华门南巷等100多条古街巷；有青州府贡院、阜财门、奎星楼、偶园、北海世家——冯氏纪念馆、记忆古城、欧阳修纪念馆、李成纪念馆、青州民俗馆、奇幻侏罗纪体验馆等十几处景点展馆；有大量的府衙建筑、传统民居、古典园林、过街牌坊等。现有全国重点文物保护单位1处，省级文物保护单位5处。游客服务、特色民宿、酒吧、餐饮、旅游设施完善，业态丰富，网红街区，主题演艺区特色鲜明，特产老字号众多，非遗项目常态化表演，是一处具有浓郁地方特色的文化旅游胜地。

 Located at the center of Shandong Province with a population of about 960,000, Qingzhou is a renowned historical and cultural city of China. Qingzhou Ancient City is a national AAAAA tourist attraction with a long history of over 2,200 years since its establishment. Since the early period of the Western Han dynasty, there were in succession six ancient cities in Qingzhou, including Guangxian City, Guanggu City, Dongyang City, Nanyang City, Dongguan Weizi City and Manchu Military City, which served as the political, economical, military and cultural center of the entire Shandong region for more than 1,000 years. Qingzhou Ancient City mainly comprises Dongyang City Beiguan Historical and Cultural Block, Nanyang City Ouyuan Historical and Cultural Block and Dongguan Historical and Cultural Block. Currently the opened area of Qingzhou Ancient City occupies 1.4 km², which is mainly concentrated in the Nanyang Ancient City and is an ancient city with architectural styles of Ming and Qing dynasties and distinctive local characteristics. In the region there are more than 100 ancient streets and lanes such as Beimen Street, Ouyuan Street, Dongmen Street, Beiying Street, Nanying Street, Canfu Street, and Donghua Gate South Lane. There are dozens of scenic spots and exhibition halls such as Qingzhou Examination Hall, Fucai Gate, Kuixing Tower, Ouyuan Garden, Beihai Aristocratic Family--the Memorial Hall of Family Feng, Memory of Ancient City, Memorial Hall of Ouyang Xiu, Memorial Hall of Li Cheng, Qingzhou Folk Museum, and Amazing Jurassic Exploration Hall. There are a lot of ancient government architectures, traditional folk dwellings, classical gardens and memorial archways on the streets, etc. Now it has one key cultural relic under national protection and five ones under provincial protection. Boasting complete tourism facilities such as customer service, special B&Bs, wine bars, restaurants and all kinds of business and services, it has blocks that have become an “online sensation”, themed performance art area with distinctive characteristics, lots of time-honored specialty brands and normalized performance of intangible cultural heritages. For this reason, Qingzhou Ancient City is a cultural tourist attraction with strong regional elements and flavors.
